The Emerson MW1338SB Countertop Microwave Oven is a simple and affordable option for anyone looking for a basic microwave. I found it easy to use, even as a beginner. The 6 pre-programmed settings are helpful for common tasks like cooking popcorn and vegetables. I especially liked the child safety lock, which prevents my little brother from accidentally starting the microwave. The 1.3 cubic feet of space is enough for me to cook most of my meals, including leftovers and frozen dinners.
