- Ensure that you cover the eggs in a saucepan with water

Notably, hard-cooked eggs will take 10-12 minutes. For those who don’t like their eggs fare, you can take a few minutes, like 8 minutes. What determines this is the preferences, the types of eggs, the pots, the stoves, and the cooking environment? In case you are cooking a large batch of eggs, it will be worth sacrificing one so that you are sure of the result that you will get. Here you will run it in cold water, break it and check if it’s ready or it will do well with adding some more minutes.

You should be sure about this. Strain the water from the pan, after which you run cold water over the eggs so that it cools them quickly. It will also help in stopping overcooking. For those dealing with a large batch of eggs, you can remove them with a slotted spoon and place it in a large bowl of ice water.
You will then think of storing your hard-boiled eggs! How do you do this? You can keep them in a covered container inside a refrigerator. Ensure that they are fully covered lest it gives out odors in the fridge. Hard-boiled eggs are ready to be eaten from the time they are out of the pan. Ensure that you consume all of them before the end of five days.
